Being born and bred in West Auckland and still living in the area, Carol has a strong affinity with the West.   She has been in the banking industry for over 35 years.   Carol’s passion is to help people and businesses thrive but also support them through the challenging times.

Her journey at the bank has enabled this – starting as a teller at the local ASB, a stint in ASB Finance whilst completing her Chartered Accountancy qualification, then pivoting into roles within Commercial Banking –  including Commercial Manager for 15 years, now Regional Manager for West Auckland & Northern Auckland Commercial Banking leading a team of 32 bankers dedicated to seeing ASB being the biggest supporter of NZ business as it has been for the past 5 years.

Through the years she has supported the Community in various roles including on the Board for a Community Kindergarten for 25 years, Treasurer for Not for Profit organisation, established a highly successful mentoring programme for women at ASB and of course being involved in the kids sports teams in coaching and manager roles.

Outside of work, she loves ‘relaxing’ at her lifestyle block, spending time with the family, walks at the beach, reading and a newer hobby – adventures on her e-bike.
